Wiesławy Widłak\n\nGrupa Białek Szoku Termicznego\r\n\r\n zespół dr Doroty Ścieglińskiej\n\nInne grupy robocze\n\nLaboratorium Diagnostyki Molekularnej\n\n Centrum Badań Translacyjnych i Biologii Molekularnej Nowotworów zostało utworzone w roku 2010 w wyniku przekształcenia dotychczasowej struktury Działu Badawczego.\n\nTematyka badawcza. Działalność Centrum ogniskuje się na prowadzeniu badań naukowych w dziedzinie biologii molekularnej nowotworów i translacji wyników takich badań do praktyki medycznej, czyli tak zwanych badaniach translacyjnych. Szczególnymi punktami zainteresowania Centrum są nowe metody diagnostyki molekularnej i doświadczalne terapie przeciwnowotworowe.

Realizowane projekty dotyczÄ… przede wszystkim: (i) genetycznych czynników ryzyka w predyspozycji do nowotworów, (ii) markerów prognostycznych i predykcyjnych w terapii przeciwnowotworowej; (iii) genomicznych i proteomicznych sygnatur choroby nowotworowej; (iv) farmakologii i biologii nowych leków przeciwnowotworowych; (v) nowych noÅ›ników i strategii dostarczania leków; (vi) modeli chorób nowotworowych. Ponadto, Centrum prowadzi projekty dotyczÄ…ce molekularnych aspektów odpowiedzi komórki nowotworowej na czynniki stosowane w terapii onkologicznej.
