Proba se va aduce la laborator in maxim 1 ora, iar cand acest lucru nu este posibil se pastreaza in frigider timp de maxim 4 ore. UROCULTURA Inainte de recoltare se spala mainile si organele genitale cu apa si sapun, evitand folosirea substantelor dezinfectante Se recolteaza prima urina de dimineata ( jetul urinar mijlociu ) aproximativ 20ml direct in recipient Proba nu se recolteaza in timpul fluxului menstrual ( in caz contrar se folosesc tampoane intravaginale ). Analiza nu se efetueaza in timpul tratamentului cu antibiotic.
Daca se urmeaza un astfel de tratament, urocultura se va efectua dupa incetarea tratamentului la un interval minim de 7 zile. Proba se va aduce la laborator in maxim 1 ora, iar cand acest lucru nu este posibil se pastreaza in frigider timp de maxim 4 ore.
