Cladirea a fost data in folosinta in 1975 ca centru de referinta national de neurochirurgie de catre Prof. Dr.
Constantin Arseni. Spitalul numit initial “Prof Dr. Gh. Marinescu, a devenit in 1993 spital de urgenta purtand numele “Prof. Dr.
D. Bagdasar”, iar in 2001 si-a schimbat denumirea in Spitalul Clinic de Urgenta “Bagdasar-Arseni”.\r\n In momentul de fata, Spitalul Clinic de Urgenta “Bagdasar-Arseni” reprezinta unul dintre cele mai importante spitale de urgenta din Bucuresti, deservind pacienti din Bucuresti, cat si din restul tarii. Echipa noastra ofera pacientilor adulti evaluari complexe de diagnostic si tratament pentru afectiuni ale creierului, maduvei spinarii si nervilor periferici. Pacientii si familiile lor sunt dornici sa se informeze despre afectiunile neurologice, sa gaseasca medicul adecvat pentru tratamentul afectiunii lor, sa inteleaga tratamentele disponibile si sa se pregateasca pentru schimbarile modului de viata care pot fi necesare.
In conceptia noastra, fiecare pacient este tratat ca un individ unic, deoarece diferentele fizice, psihologice si psiho-sociale pot afecta alegerea metodei de tratament. Noi incurajam pacientii sa discute cu noi deschis despre aceste probleme si altele care ii preocupa, legat de boala, comunicarea deschisa si franca fiind esentiala pentru calitatea actului medical. Pregatirea noastra profesionala, experienta clinica, cercetarile stiintifice efectuate sunt ghidate de o preocupare sincera pentru cresterea satisfactiei pacientului si a rezultatelor actului medical. Avem compasiune si intelegere pentru pacientii pe care ii tratam si pentru familiile care ii ingrijesc. Detinem conditiile tehnice si materiale cele mai avansate din tara, in vederea tratamentului complex al afectiunilor neurochirurgicale.
