Têm aqui lugar o Serviço de Imagiologia, o Serviço Medicina Nuclear, o Serviço de Atendimento Urgente, a Unidade de Cirurgia Ambulatória, o Serviço de Medicina Física e Reabilitação, as consultas médicas das diversas especialidades, os cuidados de enfermagem, as técnicas de diagnóstico, a terapêutica médica, entre outros, numa oferta multi-modal.\r\n \r\n O HPA tem uma vocação hospitalar marcada, fruto da cultura dos seus promotores, dos seus prestadores clínicos e das exigências passadas e presentes, a qual o meio envolvente antecipa e lhe continuará a exigir no futuro.
