He explains all the information related to the patient\'s particular diseases, the related tests and why these tests are needed. He provides all possible treatment options (like doing no treatment, medicine or surgery) and explains merits and demerits of all options, so that patients can take their own decision after judging all the merits and demerits.\n\nHe keeps himself updated regularly on the latest developments occurring in the field throughout the world and also keeps his patients updated by various means.

He is managing the patients in line of \"Evidence based Medicine\"-that is according to the most recent scientific information obtained from Medical Literature.\n\n \n\nDr Sujoy Dasgupta\n\nHe passed MBBS from Medical College, Kolkata with a number of Gold Medals (one in each year), Honours, Silver Medals, scholarships and awards like Senior Class-Assistant (the “Best Student”). He completed his MS from Medical College, Kolkata, where he won the Gold Medal for being selected as the “Best PG Student”. His thesis topic in MS, “Role of IUI in different types of Infertility, in a tertiary care institute” was published in a peer-reviewed journal. He subsequently obtained DNB  from National Board of Examinations.

He has conferred the membership (MRCOG) of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), London. He pursued different training courses in Infertility, Ultrasound, ART, Laparoscopy, Colposcopy and Hysteroscopy from different institutes. He also completed the PG program on Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from American College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. He was awarded the fellowship (FIAOG) from Indian Academy of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He subsequently, pursued the training programme on advanced ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) courses from the CREST (Centre for Reproductive Education and Specialist Training) of NUHS (National University Hospital System) Singapore.

He presented papers and posters in various conferences including the RCOG World Congress and won the first prize in many occasions.\n\nDr. Dasgupta has been invited to deliver lectures in more than 50 conferences at regional, national and international levels. He has, to his credit, 15 research publications at national and international journals. He is a peer-reviewer of BMJ Case Reports, an international journal published from the UK.

He has also been involved in “MRCOG Training Programme” for training the doctors aspiring for MRCOG. He is an active member of the Bengal Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (BOGS) and has been serving the same as Secretaries of various subcommittees and the member of the Managing Committee. He is also the member of Quiz Committee and Food and Drug Committee of FOGSI (Federation of Obs & Gynae Societies of India). He is taking a keen interest in taking part to organize various scientific programmes by BOGS, FOGSI, IAGE (Indian Association of Gynae Endoscopists) and ISAR (Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction). Being trained in music, he loves to sing Rabindra Sangeet.

\n\nHe performs all types of  Infertility Treatments for both male and female partners. Many of his patients are experiencing the joy of parenthood after long periods of Infertility, despite having problems like PCOS (Polycyctic Ovary Syndrome), Fibroids, Endometriosis, Azoopsermia, Fallopian Tube Block etc.  Many of his patients conceived naturally after taking medicines (ovulation induction) or undergoing surgery (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy).Some patients achieved pregnancy through IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) and IVF (In vitro Fertilization- \"test tube baby\").\n\nMany of his patients with Repeated Miscarriage received successful treatment, leading to delivery of the baby at or near term.

On our first visit we were surprised by his cordial approach, he gave us a good half an hour to hear our problems. When my husband asked him that whether we can call him up in case of doubts or emergency, he agreed instantly, and also mentioned that I can drop in a message on his WhatsApp as and when required and he will reply at his convenience(as we had very bad experiences in the past on this point, we were really happy to hear this) and we must admit that he actually did that for us.

From Day 1 he made us an active participant in the whole procedure, he explained everything about his line of treatment and then moved ahead when we agreed. We really appreciate the way he had deftly handled our journey to parenthood. Prior to my delivery I was hospitalised twice and during that whole period he kept an eye on my complete recovery, so that me and my baby are safe, and finally he handed us our little bundle of joy. Abhik Chattopadhyay, Salt Lake I’ll always remain grateful to Dr Sujoy Dasgupta. My wife was about to die. It was only Dr Sujoy, who saved her life, and also saved our family (my 5 years old son). It was a day of local municipal corporation election and there was political tussles outside. My wife suddenly fainted and had severe pain in her lower stomach.

That day, it was very difficult to find a doctor. I contacted Dr Sujoy by getting his number through internet and he responded immediately. I took my wife to nursing home as per his advice. Doctor also reached the hospital quickly and checked my wife and said that it is a case of “RUPTURE ECTOPIC PREGNANCY” that needs immediate operation. I agreed.

The nursing home arranged for blood. Ultimately, she had the operation and now she is doing well at home. Had Dr Sujoy not been there, I would not have seen my wife today. A mere “THank you” would be insufficient to describe what he has done. I really appreciate his care.
